Moly Memo ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a browser extension that helps users save, organize, and manage their AI chat conversations from platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, Doubao, and Tencent Yuanbao.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your information.

03 How We Use Your Data
- AI Conversation Content — Stored on our servers to allow you to browse, search, and manage your saved conversations across devices within the extension's side panel.
- Browser History — Synced to our servers to enable cross-device browsing history access. This feature is only active when you are signed in.
- Authentication Data — Stored locally to identify your account, manage your session, and authorize access to sync features.
- Device Identifier — Used to associate synced data with the originating device.
- User Preferences — Stored locally to personalize your extension experience and remember your settings.
04 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party. All user data is stored securely on our own servers and is never shared with external parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
The only third-party service involved in our data flow is:
- Google OAuth — Used solely for sign-in authentication. Google processes your authentication request per their own privacy policy. See Google Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your data only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
05 Data Storage & Security
All user data — including conversation content, browser history, authentication sessions, and preferences — is stored on our own servers. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted in transit.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our servers are maintained with industry-standard security practices, including access controls, encryption, and regular security audits.
We will never share, sell, or expose your data to any unauthorized party. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
06 Browser Permissions
The extension requests the following browser permissions, each used for a specific purpose:

| Host permissions | Injects content scripts into supported AI chat platform pages to extract conversation content. |
07 Your Rights & Choices
- View your data — All saved conversations are visible in the extension's side panel at any time.
- Delete your data — You can delete any saved conversation from the extension. You may also contact us to request full deletion of your data from our servers.
- Opt out of sync — Data synchronization only occurs when you are signed in. You can sign out at any time to stop syncing.
- Revoke access — You can revoke Google OAuth access from your Google Account permissions page.
08 Children's Privacy
Moly Memo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
